We often get questions about The Swedish Music Wonder. How come so many good artists, bands and producers come from Your small country? Well, we like to think we’re part of the answer.
SV is one of the largest study associations in Sweden with an annual participation of nearly 500,000 people in 50000 study circles.
Music accounts for nearly a third of the study circles hours reported yearly and is the largest subject group within SV.
We are supported by the government and we collaborate with music associations and communities around the country as well as the music business.
SV’s concept for organising and supporting rock, pop and hip hop groups is called The Tube.
We have local offices all over Sweden and we organise rehearsal rooms, studios, gigs and clinics/workshops/education for 1300 bands.
We also arrange rock and hip hop schools for the newcomers and we organise projects that support girls to start playing in bands.
Some of the internationally known bands that has collaborated with SV earlier are, to name a few: The Cardigans, In Flames, Ace of Base and Hammerfall.
